My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ross Barnes came to us from a kill shelter in Indiana. This is a nice, friendly boy who is good with people & other dogs. He is very sweet, happy but would benefit from some basic obedience and confidence building. He does know how to sit & walks well on a leash. His approx. birth date is 03/17/20 and he currently weighs 35#. We are guessing at his breed make up. Whatever he is, he is cute! Updated- he is crate & house trained!
He has been vet. checked, neutered, micro chipped, is up to date on routine shots & wormings including rabies, and has been treated with flea & heart worm preventative per our protocol. He is also heart worm negative & had a dental cleaning.
His adoption donation is $250 and needs to be cash, certified check, money order or a debit/credit card. There is a 3% processing fee when using a debit/credit card. We do not ship or transport.

A phone interview with an adoption coordinator is required.

Meet the Pet

If approved, we will set up an appointment for you to meet the pet. If everything goes well, you will be able to take them home the same day

We do NOT accept personal checks. We accept cash, certified check, money order and debit/credit cards (with a 3% processing fee).

Take the Pet Home

3 references and a vet reference is required. If you do not own your home, landlord approval is also required.

We are a volunteer operated non profit dog rescue located in Northern Indiana. We are a NO KILL rescue with a mission to spay or neuter every dog that comes through our rescue. Our mission is a direct response to counteract the overpopulation of unwanted dogs.
