Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hey! I'm Rosemary (but pretty much everyone calls me Rosie, which seems to fit me better anyway). For those who don't know me yet, I thought I'd share a few details about myself here...
I'm what they call a "low rider" because, well, look at me! Don't worry, though, what I lack in stature I make up for personality! (Just wait until you see my "excitement run"!). After winning the battle against heartworm this winter I've gotten to move my bod a lot more, so now I'm just about the perfect amount of "chonky"! Wouldn't you agree?
I don't like to talk a lot about my past because it wasn't so great, but it has shaped me a bit so I need to be honest with you. I like other dogs...well, some of them...sometimes...but sometimes I don't so...I don't think I should live with one. And people...well, they can scare me a bit, too. (Not YOU, of course!). I LOVE people who give me a little time and space to get to know them. Those people are my favorite!
BTW, I've been told I have kind of a serious face, but don't let the cropped ears fool you. I get zoomies that will make you laugh so hard you cry and when it comes to cuddling on the couch I'm a total pro.
So what do you think - are you ready for a sweet little house hippo ready to wiggle and waddle her way into your heart and home? Apply via the ADOPT (or FOSTER) on our website at https://www.dogsdeservebetter.org/adopt

Dogs Deserve Better is a 501c3 nonprofit organization dedicated to freeing the chained or penned dog and bringing our best friend into the home and family.
Our mission is to provide a better life for abused, neglected and abandoned canines; especially those which are chained or penned without human companionship.
