What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Duke is 1 years old and he is a Doberman/Husky mix. Duke is currently in training learning his in house manners after living outside. Duke is a very smart dog that will need an experienced owner ONLY. He has had a traumatic event in his past that makes him unsure and weary of strangers. When meeting him for the first few times he will need time and space to approach on his own. Duke will need someone that doesn't have a busy life, not a lot of strangers entering the home. He needs a balanced structure for him to thrive. We are looking for possibly a single male or two adult home that does not have small animals or children. He needs guidance to continue to thrive and time to build his trust. Duke loves to play fetch, sleep in his crate, frolic in the grass and sit by your side. Would do well with strong female dog that is his size. Willing to neuter before rehoming. He does well playing with large dogs and is currently being fostered with 2 small dogs and he does well with them.
