Tigger was surrendered to Famous Fido Rescue after his guardian died. He had no one to step up and care for him and he was quite sad to leave his whole world behind. It’s taken a bit for Tigger to come out of his shell, he was initially so scared. He has blossomed into a really gorgeous and friendly boy and anyone would be so lucky to have his companionship. Tigger loves perching in his cat tree, taking naps, and generally looking fabulous.

Famous Fido was founded by Gloria Lissner who has been independently rescuing dogs from the death rows of kill shelters since 1975. She officially opened Famous Fido Rescue & Adoption Alliance in July 2010. All our dogs recieve the necessary vet care and treatment is never refused. Famous Fido has developed a full merchandise line, starting with our all natural dog treats to support our rescue efforts. Our products are available for purchase on our website. The mission of FFRAA is to form an alliance with similar organizations to increase community awareness, public consciences and create a No Kill Nation.
