This helps Malinois and Dutch Shepherd Rescue, Inc. with pet care costs.
Introducing TIKI Located in North Carolina From her Foster: Report on Tiki Ms. Tiki is great! So far, no separation anxiety, rides very well in the car, no resource guarding, no food, aggression. Has high ball drive and food drive. Extremely athletic and agile. Right now she is high drive in both prey and pack. Not able to really evaluate her defense drive yet. Extremely active has to have a toy in her mouth. She does have an off switch. She loves to be pet and I believe she will become a Velcro dog. She is very neutral around other dogs. While she does like both dogs and humans, I do believe she does prefer humans. She is very confident so I don’t think that she needs to have another dog in the home. We have left her in the bonus room with the other dogs, and there was no whining, barking, or any destruction. We will be testing her leash and crate abilities this week. She is housebroken. She seems to be intelligent. She does not pick up on dog cues as easily as our previous foster did, which would lead me to believe that she probably hasn’t been around a lot of dogs. You can touch her and love on her and she is fine with that. Just an all-around great dog. She definitely needs a very active home. Preferably one that does some kind of sports. Could go into a home with her without a dog. Possibly could go into a first timers home only if they are super active. Tiki is available for adoption at MADrescueinc.org. reach out here or apply!
