CARD GAMES THEMED MOMMA: Approx. 2 years old / Approx. 8 lbs.

Hello, my name’s Solitaire – momma to the Card Games themed kittens! I came to Mostly Mutts in need of a good home for myself and my five kittens. I’ve raised my babies in a great foster home and – with my momma days behind me for good – I’m now ready to be a cherished member of a loving family!

• OTHER CATS/DOGS/KIDS: I may enjoy another kitty in my home, so if you have a nice kitty at home already, let’s meet. / Dogs unknown / Children in my new home may be nice, since I am a playful kitty, but best they are gentle and know how to handle a kitty, and – of course, let’s meet!

• PERSONALITY INFORMATION: My foster mom describes me as a ‘cuddle bug’ who is a real people cat. I’m always happy to sit with you … when I am not playing. I am pretty independent and will entertain myself until it is time to snuggle. With my affectionate and playful nature, I am sure to add lots of joy to my new home!

• SKILLS/LITTER TRAINED STATUS: I keep my area clean, as I am litter trained.

• LIKES/DISLIKES: When not soaking up affection (my favorite thing), I enjoy playing with small kitty toys or trying to capture the ribbon wand. I also like to just spend some ‘chill’ time - looking out the window and watching the perching birds or other cats that walk by. / I can’t think of any dislikes, but I would not be happy if I did not get the love and attention all kitties deserve!

• MEDICAL: I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped, combo tested negative and spayed.

I am looking for a great family to give me a loving home! My adoption fee is $175.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.

Mostly Mutts Animal Rescue & Adoption's Adoption Process

Our facility is currently open to the public Monday-Saturday, 11-3. We welcome you to come meet our adoptable Mutts & Kitties! Please keep in mind the following:

Many of our adoptable Mutts & Kitties are in foster homes, so please call 770-272-6888 to find out if the pet you are interested in is at our facility. With an approved application we can set up meet & greets and adoptions with a pet in foster care.
We are not yet up to full ‘staffing’ following the pandemic, so there may be times when we cannot do meet & greets or process an application on the spot.
The best first step is to submit an application via www.mostlymutts.org.
Our adoption counselors are happy to help make a great match for you and your family!

Adoption Info:
Please submit an application through our website at www.mostlymutts.org if you are interested in one of our adoptable pets. We are receiving a large volume of applications and processing may take a little bit longer than normal. We are grateful for your interest, and an adoption counselor will be in touch as quickly as possible. Please give us 48 hours to respond before sending a follow-up email.

Don’t see a dog or cat for you on the website? Submit the application anyway!! We are taking in a large number of dogs and cats weekly. Due to the overwhelming demand, many are matched with approved applicants prior to being posted online. Our adoption counselors will be happy to help make a great match for you and your family.

You may also call our phone line, 770-272-6888 or email adopt@mostlymutts.org with specific questions about any of our adoptable animals. We do require an interview, references and a contract. Must be 21 or over to adopt. Our Adoption process is very thorough...MM prides itself in making every effort to place each animal in the right home.

Dogs: Our adoption fee is $299. Each dog that Mostly Mutts adopts out to a Furever home has the following basic vetting as well as an engraved name tag, Martingale collar and leash:

Spay or Neuter Surgery
Vaccinations up to date according to age (Rabies, Distemper/Parvo, Bordatella)
De-Worming
Microchip
Heartworm Testing (1 yr & older) we pay for treatment for any HW+ animal after adoption at our own vet

Cats: Our adoption fee is $175 for cats. Each cat that Mostly Mutts adopts out to a Furever home has the following basic vetting as well as an engraved name tag:

Spay or Neuter Surgery
Vaccinations up to date according to age (Rabies, FVRCP)
De-Worming
Combo-Tested (FeLV/FIV)

Our Mission is to help the Unwanted, Abandoned, Abused and Sick animals in our local counties. We fulfill this mission by working closely with County Animal Control Facilities, saving those who are in imminent danger of euthanasia, or those with needs which require specialized vet care that many other groups will not consider: major orthopedic issues, heartworm positive treatment, skin conditions, neglect and abuse
