My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

WE ARE COURTESY POSTING BLUE FOR A FOSTER OR ADOPTIVE HOME

Lucky Blue was just rescued off the euthanasia list at a local shelter. He is now ready to find his happily ever after. He is in a short term foster home, therefore he needs either a longer term foster or adoptive home.

Blue is a 2 year old, 62 pound Pit/Catahoula mix. His piercing blue eyes capture attention but what is wonderful about Blue is his personality. He's a fun loving boy, sweet, gentle, greeted people he met on walks with a kiss. Blue seems to really like puppies and could do well joining a home with a younger pup. He behaved well in his kennel while at the shelter. In the play yard, he liked playing with toys, would get the zoomies but also enjoyed affection.

If Blue sounds like a pup you could help out by fostering, or would like to consider for your family as a new canine member, please contact us.

Additional adoption info

Upon initial inquiry on one of our pets, we begin the process by having all potential adopters complete an adoption application. If approved, we then set up a face to face meeting with the pet you are interested in. A home and yard check is required prior to adoption. Once adoption is finalized, an adoption fee is collected, an adoption contract is agreed to and signed by both parties, and the animal is turned over to it's new adoptive owner/family. Follow ups take place during the first month to insure the pet and the household is adjusting to the pet, and any issues, questions or concerns are addressed.
