My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pepper is a very relaxed cat that is happy to lounge around with you. After previously living as a stray, she’s just grateful for the peacefulness of the indoors! Pepper gets the zoomies from time to time, and LOVES chasing her fabric wand or little ball toys.

Pepper has quite the purr and is an excellent biscuit maker. She’s still learning the luxury of laying in laps, but she’s happy to lay right next to you and receive tons of pets. She loves nothing more than having her chin, neck, and head rubbed!

Pepper is estimated to be about 2-3 years old. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and negative for FIV and FeLV. She can be cautious of fast movements, so a home with no young kids would be ideal. We’d love to see Pepper go to a calm household that meets her chill vibes.

Pepper's adoption fee is $75. For more information and to submit an application, please email liberationcathouse@gmail.com. Be sure to check us out on Instagram @orlandofosterkittens (foster parent) or @liberationcathouse (rescue) to see more pictures and videos of Pepper!

More about this rescue

We are a non-profit organization that exists to save the lives of at-risk cats and kittens in the Central Florida area. This is primarily done through fostering those that are sick and/or medically needy until they are healthy and old enough to be placed in a forever home.

We believe that saving more lives can be accomplished through educating others on the importance of spaying and neutering as well as through safe and effective trap-neuter-vaccinate-return (TNvR) practices.

We live by the conviction that compassion for animals applies to all species, not just cats.
