Why I need a new home

Infant, young children or pregnancy

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Boulder. I am a 2 year old 100% American Pit Bull Terrier. My parents found me starving in a park south of Dallas a year ago and nursed me back to health. I am a fun loving, loyal, and adventurous dog who loves to play tug of war and snuggle. My parents feel I have a bit too much energy to share the house with a new baby. I am not good with puppies or larger dogs, so a single dog home would be best for me. (Though I do currently share a home with a puggle and border collie and love playing with them). I enjoy meeting new people, but sometimes can get a bit too excited and can invade peoples personal space with kisses. I know sit, place and down from lots of training and are passing on two free lessons with my trainer to my new parents. From my rough past, I need positive reinforcement and a new owner that has patience to work with me and give me praise when I do things right. In return, I will snuggle, lick, and be your most loyal best friend!
