My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Bindi!

This super sweet girl is a very petite Australian Shepherd at just 38lbs. She's all wiggle and has one beautiful blue eye and one brown eye.

Bindi is a recent mom to 4 puppies. She was found near the Florida/Georgia border with her puppies, taken to a shelter and then flown to us. She is now spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and heartworm negative.

In true Aussie fashion, Bindi is a bit of a nervous girl. She loves women and will stand up and hug you when she's feeling unsure of a situation. She can be nervous of men, but not all of the time. She is friendly with other dogs, but seems to be a bit inexperienced with them. She doesn't know how to play or interact yet, but she will get there! She just glues herself to her person :)

She is completely housetrained and crate trained and does not mind being left in a crate while you are gone. She is so well behaved. She also rides great in the car and doesn't move around at all. A fenced yard is firm requirement for Bindi and another dog would be great and help her feel more confident. If you do not have an attached fenced yard, but have a fenced area to supplement that with daily, please send us an email to explain at info@love4pawsfl.org

Bindi is in Tampa and her adoption fee is $400.

More about this rescue

We are a non-breed specific dog rescue group, although we do tend to take in mostly large and extra-large breeds, and especially those in the hunting / sporting groups.

Love for Paws exists to protect and advocate for dogs in our community through responsible adoption, the donation of supplies and veterinary care to those in need, by assisting in the effort to limit the overpopulation of these animals and by promoting kindness and healthy opportunity for life.
