Dipper!

Dipper, named in memory of Jon Stewart's late and beloved pup, showed up at the shelter early one morning. He was a little unsure at first, but we sat down, and he melted like butter in our arms. He loves going out with the team for walks and off-leash play time, but he hates going back into the shelter. We cannot wait to see him walk out of our gates, get into a car, and go home. He needs people and is very social.

Dipper recently went on an overnight camping adventure and had a blast! He loved playing in the water, hiking, and taking it all in. He does well on-leash and has made friends with a number of other dogs at the shelter. His larger size and higher energy might be overwhelming for some kids, but he would be a great family pup for dog-savvy older kids.
