My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Hope! She is a 10 month old (DOB 5/26/2023) Great Dane mix, weighing in at 60 lbs. This is a gentle girl that would do great with any family. She is dog and kid friendly, and has not chased the cats. She walks great on a leash. She knows basic commands like sit. She is still a baby so she needs some patience with house training. She is on a diet to help her with gaining weight as she was a little skinny when she arrived. She has been spayed, up to date on vaccines, dewormed, microchipped and ready to find her fur-ever family. If you have interest in this great girl, please fill out an adoption application at Richardsonrescue.org and come make this sweet girl apart of you pack.

More about this rescue

Nestled in twelve acres of country and woods is a place for animals that are hardest to help, BIGGER dogs, abused pets and puppy mill dogs. They need more time, more space and more love than many full rescues can provide. Their adoptions sometimes take months, but they get the room and attention that they need to get back on all four feet. The problem.... not many people are willing to give them a chance. We also offer low cost spay and neutering when funding allows.
