My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi everybody! I'm Minnie, a sweet and spunky senior (I'm 12 but don't act like it!) who is looking for a quiet forever home with a lap to call my own! My foster mom says I am surprisingly energetic for my age, but I want nothing more than to cuddle up with you and watch tv or take a nap.

I would be just fine as the only dog in the house so that all your attention can be mine, but I also wouldn’t mind another small, laid back dog who is gentle and respectful of my boundaries. I really like my foster sister!

I am housetrained and my favorite thing to do is go for walks. I love to go outside and explore when the weather is nice, and get excited as soon as I see you reaching for my leash! I also like to be carried around like a princess. Heck, I AM a princess!

In true Chinese Crested fashion, I am a velcro dog and do NOT like to be left alone. I will be vocal when you leave me alone, so apartment living is not a good choice for me. I love meeting new people and getting attention everywhere I go! So a home where someone is around most of the time is what I need.

I do have minor seizures, for which I take daily medication. It's inexpensive and I take it once a day. I still have the occasional minor seizure, every few weeks or so, but am doing really good! This is another reason why I need someone to be home most of the time. Most of all, I just want to be with you all the time. I'm also a very small girl, at about 5 lbs, so a home with no young children is needed please. The rescue says they are going to make sure that the most perfect home is found for me (like they always do!), so they will accept applications until the one that is just right for me is found.
