Monty is a sweet little boy who came to our rescue needing some TLC. He is about 5 years old and he has some skin issues, predominantly around his ears. However, he is on medication to help with his skin/ears and they’re 10x better than just 3 short weeks ago!
He gets along with all dogs, both large and small… And he loves to play with toys… the squeakier, the better! He loves to run his zoomies in the yard and he is very good about going to his crate for feeding time and when his foster parents have to leave the house. Monty also wants to be very close to his humans, so make sure you have spot reserved next to you on the sofa when you are watching TV at night. He’s potty trained and even uses pads if it’s raining outside… If you think your home would be a good fit for Monty, fill out the application today!

Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas is a non-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer organization with focus on rescue and adoption of pure breed Dachshunds.
