My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is Rose and I'm at the Santa Maria Campus. I'm a 4 year old, female, Australian Kelpie / Labrador Retriever mix.

I am a sweet, loyal, & loving girl that loves to play in the yard and chase as many tennis balls
as I can! Maybe you can throw a few with me and see if I can be a new addition to the family! I have an infectious smile and my tail never stops wagging.
My ideal home would be with an active family who will take me on adventures with them before we all settle down for couch cuddle time. I've been good with other dogs, but will need some time to introduce myself. I have done great with kids, babies, and everyone I have met so far!

Interested in meeting me? Adoption Centers are open daily 12-4:30pm, closed Wednesdays. Adoptions are on a first-come first served basis. For more information please email Adopt@SBHumane.org or call 805-964-4777.

When I am adopted, I will have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. My adopters will receive a certificate for a free veterinary exam and our partners at Purina will provide a supply of food for my first few days at home.

Our adoption fees help support our community programs and the next animal who needs our help!
