Meet Lance, a charming boy ready to bring joy to your home! Lance thrives in a house with a yard, where he loves to lounge in the sunshine. He's currently enjoying indoor life with his foster, spending his days in cozy comfort. Despite being restricted from vigorous activity due to heartworms, Lance's spirit remains undimmed. He's partially house trained and has decent leash manners, although he may pull a bit. Lance is a social butterfly, getting along famously with other dogs and enjoying rough-and-tumble play. His Saturday mornings are filled with routine: potty time, breakfast, energetic zoomies, and plenty of snuggles. Lance's favorite treat is real chicken, and he adores basking in the sun outdoors. His repertoire includes mastering the art of sitting, and he's known affectionately as "Lovebug" for his sweet and affectionate nature. With Lance, your home will be filled with love and sunshine!

You can meet our pets by making an appointment or coming in during our walk-in hours (Monday-Saturday 12pm-5pm).

Sign Adoption Contract
Once you meet the pet and its a good match, there's some paperwork that you will need to sign (most is completed digitally).

Take the Pet Home
We try to make as many pets ready to go home the same day you meet them so they get immediate love and cuddles from their new family!

Our $35 flat rate adoption fees are an amazing value!
All adoptions will include the following:
* Spay/Neuter
* Vaccines
* Heartworm test (dogs)
* Feline Leukemia & FIV test (cats)
* Flea and tick preventative
* Heartworm preventative
* Microchip
* Pet Hub ID tag
You will need to bring the following to adopt:
•Picture ID with your current address. For example, a Driver's License or State ID.
•Proof of age (you must be 18 or older to adopt a pet from Animal Care)
•Proper form of payment (cash, credit/debit card, money order). Checks are accepted with a current Diver's License.
•A carrier for your adopted kitty or a leash and collar for your adopted dog. Don't have these items? Don't worry - we will have these and many more wonderful items for your new pet available for purchase in our Pet Retail Store.

Greenville County is situated in the Upstate of South Carolina, and is only a 30 minute drive from North Carolina's southern border; 1 hours drive to Georgia's border and about 2 hours from Columbia, SC.
