My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Zemmi is a beautiful 7yr old mix. She's a huge lover. Tolerant of baths, nail trims, teeth brushing, taking medication, hugs/contact from small children, cats, fireworks. Big cuddle buddy, she loves to sleep on the bed with you. Zemmi loves the beach, hiking trails, and the dog park. She hates being in large bodies of water though. Adventures are fun but loafing on the couch is her most favorite place to be.

She has been trained well but she does sensitivities... she is highly stressed with wood/tile/linoleum floors - carpet and rugs are best, has anxiety in cars, and does not care for yelling or crying - will go to her bed. Commands she knows: sit, down, stand, lay, paw, mat, out, easy, let's go, come, stay, back, home.

She does have a thyroid disease where she's required to take daily meds. Her diet is Merrick Limited Ingredient Real Lamb & Sweet Potato. 1/2cup 2x a day. Her favorite treats are cheese, blueberries, banana, and broccoli.

She loves to be chased and tug of war but has never played catch. Belly rubs are her favorite thing. She's not a big kisser but will sniff your hair and ears while nuzzling into your neck. If Zemmi could be your new friend Contact Katina 503 597-0322 at Hannah Pet Hospital

More about this rescue

Our mission is to help Pets live the longest, healthiest, happiest life possible with one forever family at a reasonable and sustainable cost.

Hannah the Pet Society is happy to announce our newly expanded Placement Program. This quickly growing, newly revamped program helps connect people looking for a Pet with Pets from inside and outside our community that are looking for a home so they can live long, healthy, happy lives together.

Hannah sources Pets from shelters that are faced with a heavy overpopulation issue, and this is the last chance for these Pets to find a forever home. Because these rescue Pets can come with health and or behavior issues, we place all of the Pets on a Hannah Total Lifetime Care plan. We encourage all new Pet Parents to continue to keep their new furry family Member on a Pet care plan.

Hannah's vet care model eliminates the potentially costly surprises associated with the traditional vet care model and is more comprehensive and economical than Wellness Plans or Pet Insurance. Hannah is made up of a society of Members that each pay a one-time Membership fee and a low monthly fee to receive comprehensive veterinary services, obedience training and other services for their Pet.
