#A5608810 Bethany is a smart “nose oriented” German Shepherd who will thrive in a home where she gets lots of mental stimulation. Intelligent and alert dogs like Bethany need a job to keep them happy, and she would like her job to be going on walks or hikes with you and sniffing all the trees and fire hydrants in the neighborhood. She’s good on leash, following along with her handler pretty well. In her assessment she was tolerant but quickly overwhelmed by other dogs, and the shelter is requiring that any dogs in the home be Calm to be the best match for her. We think her confidence will grow once she feels safe in a home and has proper introductions.
