Were rehoming Evie cause I work night shift and my wife works in medical. So we're either super tired or more home bodies. We don't think we can provide enough energy and the lifestyle Evie needs. We also have some other pets with family members. So it's a bit stressful with everyone and our new situation.
She needs to be a only household pet. At the age of 1 and a half. She was attacked by a great Dane. And that has made her a little territorial with eating food and has some sleep aggression. So bed time she has to sleep in a caged area.
She's very sweet otherwise. Loves to kiss faces. Always wants to be around people. And carries around a toy in happiness when you get home. She loves tug of war and fetching the rope.
She's got some good quirks and bad. But if you have some patience in understanding Evie she can be a good dog. Our biggest hurdle is her breed. The Aussie shep - poodle mix has a ton of springy energy. We just can't effectively deplete it on a consistent basis.
