My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is Oakland and I'm at the Santa Barbara Campus. I'm a 5 year old, Male, Greater Swiss Mountain Dog Mix!

I am an extremely sweet boy that just wants love and cuddles all day! I know lots of cool tricks like high-5 and high-10! So maybe I can find my new home and we can hang- low and chill out after we play all day!

My ideal home would be a family that is all in for a big sweet boy and willing to take the time to care for me! I am good with other dogs but will need some time to introduce one another. I have done great with kids, babies, and everyone I have met so far!

Interested in meeting me? Adoption Centers are open daily 12-4:30pm, closed Wednesdays. Adoptions are on a first-come first served basis. For more information please email Adopt@SBHumane.org or call 805-964-4777.

When I am adopted, I will have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. My adopters will receive a certificate for a free veterinary exam and our partners at Purina will provide a supply of food for my first few days at home.

Our adoption fees help support our community programs and the next animal who needs our help!
