My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Fiji is *very* into his people. An introvert, he is not! This snuggle monster wants to be wherever you're at. Fiji's most favorite thing in the entire world is a basket of laundry fresh out of the dryer. Once hes in it, folding has to wait, and his foster family is ok with that because hes just so darn cute! Other hobbies include laying directly on your chest and gazing lovingly into your eyes. Fiji has lots of cat friends, and he's also really helpful when it's time to change the sheets! Fiji is a flopper! This special boy has a strong motor, and when he really gets going, it activates a bit of happy kitty drool! He was born with early kidney disease, but despite this unfortunate diagnosis, Fiji's growing up to he a happy, playful cuddle bug in a WCAL foster home.He takes his twice-daily supplements with ease in a spoon of canned food, and although he has kidney disease, we would not characterize him as sick. Rather, Fiji is managing a chronic illness and absolutely living his best life. We hope he's the exception to the rule, and we're all rooting for Fiji to be adopted by a great family where he can live a nice long life. Cats sure have a way of surprising us and we love it when that happens. Fiji is eating regular kitten food (he LOVES canned food, so obviously, we give him as much as he likes!). One day, after he is full grown, he may need to transition to a KD prescription diet. No fluids are required currently. Every day is precious, and his ideal adopters will understand this. Fiji shares a foster home with lots of other friendly cats and gets along well with them all. Fiji loves everything and everyone, and in return, everyone loves him back. His foster family believes he is one of the best cats ever, and after 6 years of fostering non-stop, they have met a lot of cats
