Sasha is a six year old Saluki-mix rescue from Qatar. I adopted her in late 2018 from Rural Dog Rescue in DC but as much as it breaks my heart to let her go, I cannot continue to take care of her due to my dermatitis/allergy that I developed a year ago from pet dander. Sasha deserves a warm home to share her love with.
Sasha is a easy-going, soft, and cuddly dog that really LOVES her dog naps on soft couches or her dog beds. When she isn't napping she enjoys her daily long walk outside to sniff and watch the squirrels or her occasional zoomies in an open area.
Sasha is very very good with people and kids but may be timid and react with dogs she hasn't met yet. Sasha is fully house-trained. Sasha also can shed quite a bit!
Sasha genetically has dry eyes (more in her left eye than her right) and used to need eye drops daily but shes matured and hasn't needed any drops in the past few years. She is very tolerant and very used to receiving eye drops though.
