This beautiful cat appeared a few months ago at my neighbor's door and ran into their house on a freezing cold day. They had 2 dogs, so not ideal, and we had 2 cats, so we took her in initially temporarily until someone claimed her. Here are the details:
1) The vet said she is around 2 years old, though small in size when we got her (likely stray or outside for a while so underfed) - we use Southside Animal Hospital in the Publix Shopping Center on Savannah Highway near Main Road to John's Island
2) She is very loving to people, was especially so to me, curious and playful
3) We named her "GC", for Gertrude the Cat
4) Healthy appetite, loves wet cat food
5) She got along with one of our cats, but she and the alpha cat could not get along after 2 months of trying - she would likely do fine with a passive cat or possibly a dog - she's very friendly but will stick up for herself if she feels threatened. Our alpha cat was growling at her, so that was part of the problem.
