My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Nika is a loyal and sweet 3 and a half year old Shiba Inu. She is very active and loves to sprint around in our backyard with a chewed up deflated soccer ball in her mouth. She is friendly at the dog park and does well playing with bigger dogs. She is house trained, obeys commands "sit", "stay", "down", "off". At night she sleeps in her crate and gets along well with our other dog, who is a male Alaskan Klee Kai (mini Husky). She is very gentle with our 8 month old and licks him when he cries.
The only reason we are rehoming her is because our baby cries when Nika barks loudly and suddenly, and she sometimes growls at him when he tries to touch her paw, and that makes him cry too. Nika has never bitten anyone and has never come close. We are very sorry to have to give her away.
A perfect home for Nika would be one with a big fenced in yard, where there are no small children, she is the only pet, and receives a lot of love and attention.
