Peanut is very obedient gets along with all sizes dogs. Has the sweetest disposition, is very playful, eats a little too well (could stand to lose a pound or two). Doesn’t guard food, goes to the bathroom outside and has about a 90% success rate using a potty pad indoors.
Con: Doesn’t like to walk on a leash; needs more work with walks.

Fine Print:
-All of our French bulldogs must be walked with a harness (never on a neck collar).
-The rescue requires adoptive family to obtain pet insurance for coverage of congenital and hereditary conditions. This is for any of the dogs in our rescue identified as a French Bulldog or a Frenchie Mix. Adoption will be finalized once the proof of pet insurance requirement is met. (There are some great policies ranging between $28-32 per month)
-We have an open door policy and are always here to discuss anything that may arise with your adoptive pet. After an adoption is conducted please do not hesitate to reach out.
-Please no texts or calls, apply if interested.
-This breed generally speaking cannot swim and will sink like bowling balls so we do not adopt out to any homes with unfenced pools.
Note: All breeds and ages are our veterinarians best educated guess (unless otherwise stated that our group has breeder paperwork)

Frenchie N Friends & Save A Bow Wow is a small dog rescue based out of Southern California. We pull dogs from our local humane societies in Los Angeles & Orange County. We are not an animal shelter and do not have a physical location. We do take in a lot of owner surrendered dogs. Save A Bow Wow & Frenchie N Friends strongly believes in pets being spayed or neutered. Therefore, we offer financial assistance and/or referrals to low cost spay & neuter clinics. No dog will be adopted from Save A Bow Wow & Frenchie N Friends before he/she has been altered.
As we are a 100% volunteer organization, if you wish to join our team, please let us know! We are dedicated to rescuing, caring for and placing homeless dogs in a forever home
All dogs we adopt out require an adoption donation. This donation includes spay or neuter, vaccinations, collar, ID tag & a microchip. We have each of our dogs in to the vet prior to completing an adoption. If additional services were needed, we took care of it!... (Such as grooming, applying flea preventative, deworming etc.)
Adoption applications are found on www.saveabowwow.com/rescue/adoption-form We also have a hard copy of our application for those of you that aren’t computer savvy.
