My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jasper is a young pup that has already had several owners to no fault of his own. He is now looking for his fur-ever home. He is a quick learner and wants a family to see him and love him as much as we do. Jasper plays well with other dogs. He is not nippy or overbearing. Jasper also would make a great first dog for a family or single person.
He is vaccinated and ready to be adopted. Stop on in and meet your new best friend!
The shelter can be reached at 937-498-7201 to schedule a time to meet. Or please feel free to come in during business hours. The shelter is open Monday-Friday 9-5 and Saturday 9-12. Open kennel hours are Monday-Friday 12-4 and Saturday by appointment. Our email is shelbycountyanimalshelter@yahoo.com

More about this shelter

The Shelby County Animal Shelter is a County office designed to serve the residents of Shelby County. They answer calls for stray dogs, complaints of dogs running at large, animal kills by dogs and coyotes, pick up stray dogs, answer humane complaints and reports of loose dogs.

The SCAS is open to people looking for a pet, looking for a missing pet, and those who just want to look at the animals. They accept dogs and cats from owners as well as strays, however a fee may be involved. They offer dogs, puppies, cats and kittens for adoption.
