My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jasper is a very outgoing and loving boy! He is a bundle of fun and love that will give you all he has to offer. He is neutered, vaccinated and ready to learn what you want to teach. He gets along with other dogs and loves kids. I'm sure he thinks that kids give the best treats and are more fun to play with. If you want a companion to make your life fuller, then Jasper is waiting patiently for you!

More about this shelter

The Shelby County Animal Shelter is a County office designed to serve the residents of Shelby County. They answer calls for stray dogs, complaints of dogs running at large, animal kills by dogs and coyotes, pick up stray dogs, answer humane complaints and reports of loose dogs.

The SCAS is open to people looking for a pet, looking for a missing pet, and those who just want to look at the animals. They accept dogs and cats from owners as well as strays, however a fee may be involved. They offer dogs, puppies, cats and kittens for adoption.
