Introducing Punky, the vibrant 2-year-old tortoiseshell. Punky has been on a journey of transformation, thanks to the dedicated staff who have nurtured her sociability day by day. Punky's affectionate nature is evident in her love for snuggling up in her cozy bed, eagerly awaiting gentle pets from her human friends. While she revels in affectionate gestures, Punky has a clear preference—she's not one to be lifted into the air. Nevertheless, her endearing personality shines brightest when she's nestled comfortably, enjoying the warmth of human companionship. As Punky continues to grow more friendly and trusting with each passing day, she eagerly anticipates finding her forever home—a place where she can bask in the love and understanding she deserves.

We ask all potential adopters to fill out an adoption application which allows us to check certain points of reference (vets, home ownership status, previous pets, etc). If the application looks good, the adopter signs the adoption contract which states, among other things, the animal(s) will have a permanent home with said adopter and if for any reason this becomes impossible, the animal must be returned to Four Legs Good. Four Legs Good reserves the right to place a follow-up phone call or visit, with notice, within the first year of adoption.

Four Legs Good is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization dedicated to providing the most humane treatment of Rockland County animals in need. We started as a small group of dedicated volunteers who decided to make a difference in the lives of feral, homeless and abandoned animals. We are currently working out of the RG CARES Animal Shelter.
