Meet Shiba, the sweetest Rottweiler mix. Shiba is a 3 year-old charmer who has worked her way into everyone’s heart at the shelter. This friendly and lovable pup is looking for a forever home where she can share endless love and loyalty with her new family. While she may benefit from some training and exposure, she promises to shower you with affection and devotion in return. She would thrive as an only pet in a household with older kids or teens but she just might be able to find furry friendships with other dogs. We ask all potential adopters to fill out an adoption application which allows us to check certain points of reference (vets, home ownership status, previous pets, etc). If the application looks good, the adopter signs the adoption contract which states, among other things, the animal(s) will have a permanent home with said adopter and if for any reason this becomes impossible, the animal must be returned to Four Legs Good. Four Legs Good reserves the right to place a follow-up phone call or visit, with notice, within the first year of adoption.

Four Legs Good is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization dedicated to providing the most humane treatment of Rockland County animals in need. We started as a small group of dedicated volunteers who decided to make a difference in the lives of feral, homeless and abandoned animals. We are currently working out of the RG CARES Animal Shelter.
