Duck, Duck, Goose…. Goose says pick me. Goose is a Labrador Great Pyrenees mix who is about one year old. He is good with other dogs, a little shy at first, because he was under socialized. He has been doing great in play groups, working to get more comfortable and confident. He is full of puppy energy, so an active household with structure and someone willing to continue his basic training would be ideal. He would need to be in an adult only home because as is common with his breed, he tends to herd children. Every day is a goose day with this bestest boy

We ask all potential adopters to fill out an adoption application which allows us to check certain points of reference (vets, home ownership status, previous pets, etc). If the application looks good, the adopter signs the adoption contract which states, among other things, the animal(s) will have a permanent home with said adopter and if for any reason this becomes impossible, the animal must be returned to Four Legs Good. Four Legs Good reserves the right to place a follow-up phone call or visit, with notice, within the first year of adoption.

Four Legs Good is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization dedicated to providing the most humane treatment of Rockland County animals in need. We started as a small group of dedicated volunteers who decided to make a difference in the lives of feral, homeless and abandoned animals. We are currently working out of the RG CARES Animal Shelter.
