Hi I'm Cheerio! I have been in rescue for a long time and I don't understand why. I'm the happiest and sweetest girl just looking for an active forever home. I love going for walks and hikes! I am a MAJOR water dog and love to lounge in the kiddie pool! I'm potty trained and crate trained and my foster mom says I'm super smart and food motivated so I would do well learning new commands and even tricks! I get along with other dogs of all sizes and love to play chase. I even get along with humans of all sizes but I might get a little too excited for the extra small ones. I'm working on learning not to jump but sometimes I can't help myself because I'm so happy! I just need regular exercise and mental stimulation to get my energy out and then I can settle down inside.
Cheerio is a 3 year old Lab/Pit mix and weighs about 50lbs. She is available for adoption with Saving Grace Dog Rescue of San Antonio. The adoption fee is $195.00 local or $395.00 out of state with transport. An adoption application, home visit and adoption contract are all required. All dogs are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations appropriate for their age, microchipped, and wormed for internal and external parasites. We are Texas based where there is a horrendous overpopulation problem. We pull from several high kill shelters and take in street rescues of the many, many abandoned animals and we get them healthy, vetted, fixed, and adoptable and find them awesome homes in a better area
