Mackensie is a sweet, spunky girl who loves everyone she meets! Mackensie is also positive for a heartworm infection. She is currently being treated, but the treatment takes time. She is available for adoption, but the adopter must agree to foster her and return her for the rest of her treatment. We expect her to fully recover and will be an even happier, healthier version of the dog she is today. (For information about heartworms and treatment visit: https://www.heartwormsociety.org/pet-owner-resources) Mackensie needs some training as she tends to be excitable, mouthy so she'd do best in a home with older children. She seems to be okay with other dogs, but we would always recommend a meet and greet with any potential doggie-housemates.
If you are interested in meeting Mackensie, visit or call the shelter - or complete an online adoption questionnaire and a shelter team member will reach out to schedule and introduction! www.HamiltonNJ.com/AnimalShelter
