Meet Martini! This gentle two year old, Chihuahua mix Martini is looking for an adopter who's a sucker for a snaggle tooth, and ready to give him some extra TLC. Since arriving in NYC, Martini has been a bit nervous in his new surroundings, but we know with some loving care from his adopter he will warm up in no time! Martini is fully house trained and crate trained, and is still working on perfecting his leash skills by trying his best to build his confidence in the big city. Martini's ideal adopter will be patient and ready to help him come out of his shell - could you be the one to nurture this sweet boy? Martini will return your love ten-fold!

The best way to meet our pups is via private meetings or at adoption events. We host these weekly at various locations around NYC.

Our adoption fee ranges from $275-$550 and covers the costs of vetting, boarding, transportation, and other necessary items for our dogs.

Hearts & Bones Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit foster-based rescue with dual bases in New York City, NY and Dallas, TX. We are dedicated to ending the needless euthanasia of shelter dogs through direct lifesaving, shared learning, and community building. Our incredible network of rescue partners, fosters, volunteers, and a small but mighty staff work together to save dogs in the areas where shelters are under the greatest stress, and unite them with loving adopters ready to give them the lives they deserve.
