My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Please consider sponsoring a cat. For a little as $10 a month you can help us help more animals in need.

Deku is super laid-back, is food motivated and is so soft and snuggly. He doesn't love being snuggled but he puts up with it. Sometimes he just looks at you with a face that makes you want to put him down for his sake. :) We think Deku will be a big cat, he loves catnip and will beg for food from your plate. Churu treats are his favorite and can demonstrate a powerful grip. He can also demonstrate his messiness when he eats so be prepared for his face to often come out of the bowl with food on it. He is a little reserved and may take a bit to come to you on his own, unless you have food. Good with other cats and sleeps with the big dog in his foster pad. Deku is very attached to his brother Dabi and we would like them to be adopted together.

Our adoption fees are $75.00 for any kitty 6 months of age or older. $85 for kittens under 6 months of age. Included in each adoption: age appropriate shots, microchip, and spay/neuter surgery. All kitties are litterbox trained.

Prior to meeting or adopting any of our wonderful kitties, we ask that you please fill out our online Cat Adoption Application on our website aaFlorida.org/adopt.  There is a link on the top of the home page. Click on "Fill in", you don't have to register.  For more information about this kitty or any others, you can contact us at Adoptions@aaFlorida.org.  We are a foster organization and don't have set hours we are open - but we will gladly set up an appointment for you to meet any cat.  Of course, you're under no obligation to adopt if you come to meet any of our fabulous felines.

Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.

More about this rescue

We are an all volunteer organization saving lives in the Florida Panhandle through adoption, spay/neuter and TNR of community cats.

We are always in need of foster homes and volunteers. If you find a kitty or dog and are willing to foster it - we can help you find it a furever home. Can't foster or adopt right now, help socialize kittens. The more people the kittens are exposed to the better is for them. We can always use volunteers. Work from home, work directly with animals, or work non-directly with animals helping us raise money or distributing fliers.

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE spay or neuter your pets! Escambia County pound puts down over 1,000 animals a month! Through spay/neuter we can reduce that number.
