My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Phoebe - Female DOB 6/28/2023 Domestic Short Hair Brown Tabby -  Meet Joey and Phoebe!  Siblings Joey and Phoebe are northern kitties that came to us as local surrenders when their family was no longer able to care for them.  They had been adopted initially as tiny kittens, but they likely didn't receive much socializing, they are both quite timid.  Currently in our quiet room, Phoebe is the more outgoing of the pair.  She comes out to socialize with the volunteers that she is familiar and comfortable with, but it takes time.  With patience in their new home, we know this adorable pair will settle in and blossom, maybe not lap cats but certainly out and about for attention.  When you see Phoebe and Joey together, she seems to be the protector and lays with Joey to comfort him, it's very sweet to see.  Joey is friendly as well, it just takes him longer to feel safe with new people, his sister will help him to see that it's ok.  This adorable yin, yang pair of brother/sister, orange/brown have something in common, HUGE paws!  They are both Hemingway kitties with polydactyl paws.  Joey and Phoebe are looking for their new home together.  It's going to need to be a quiet one, with a patient person to let them settle in at their own pace.  No dogs or children.  They do get along quite well with the other timid, friendly kittens in the room.  If you are interested in adopting, please apply via our easy online application at https://furrr.org/cat-adoption-process/

All kitten(s) and cat(s) at FuRRR Feline Rescue are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations for their age, combo tested for FIV/FeLV, microchipped and have a Health Certificate from a licensed NH veterinarian.  Our application is available to be completed online at  https://furrr.org/cat-adoption-process/  Applying DOES NOT guarantee approval.  We hold meet and greets with approved applications only.  (Kittens are available for adoption in pairs only unless they are going home to another kitten or young cat under 3) Our policy is strictly NO DECLAWING and INDOOR ONLY.
