Meet Jason, a 3-year-old male Pit Bull mix. Jason was brought to the adoption center after being found at a Yakima gas station. Jason had several minor injuries to his face and was very thin. He is now looking great and gaining weight consistently. Jason is easy to please, he loves to get outside for walks and is all about treats. He even knows how to sit already!
Please do your breed research before adopting a Terrier mix. They can be a bit stubborn at times and need lots of physical and mental stimulus to keep them happy. Terrier mixes can be strong-willed and need an equally determined person to keep them in line. Terriers are fun, athletic and smart. Many people have fallen in love with them over the years, but it is important to keep their breed needs in mind if you are considering adding one to your household.

Our mission is to help you find a pet that meets your expectations and lifestyle. You’re invited to visit with a prospective pet in one of our "Meet N' Greet" rooms. We also offer "Meet N' Greets" for adopters wishing to introduce a current dog to a potential new playmate.

We do our best to keep adoption prices reasonable while generating income to support our goal of caring for animals available for adoption until we can place them in a loving home. Adoption fees help provide medical care, food and shelter to the animals in our care.

We are a private, nonprofit animal welfare organization proud to be serving the people and animals of Yakima County for over 100 years.
