Chompers is somewhere in the age 2 to 4 range (our trainer thought even younger) and is a quick learner who is currently mastering the art of "stay", showing just how dedicated he is to becoming the best furry friend he can be. He's not just well-trained; he's also incredibly respectful and takes guidance like a champ. Whether it's waiting for his human to go through the door first or listening attentively to commands, Chompers is a pleaser and wants to follow the rules. When it comes to outdoor adventures, Chompers is the perfect companion. He's thrilled to go on walks and takes his duty to protect his human seriously, even if he gets a little distracted by interesting smells along the way. But don't worry, he's easily redirected and back on track in no time! Chompers is also a seasoned traveler who rides well in cars, making him the ideal road trip buddy. His curious nature keeps things exciting, and he's always up for exploring new places and experiences. At home, Chompers is a well-behaved sweetheart. He's perfectly content spending time alone and is completely housetrained. While he may occasionally be tempted by delicious smells on the counter, he's working on mastering the art of self-control. When it's time to unwind, Chompers loves nothing more than curling up in bed with his human for a cozy night's sleep. During the day, you'll find him lounging in his comfy dog bed, eagerly awaiting his next adventure. However, due to his high prey drive, he's best suited for a home without cats or other small pets. And an unusual thing about Chompers, he actually enjoys baths! We require an adoption questionnaire (found online at www.PeiPeople.com) from all prospective adopters as well an an adoption contract , home visit and a reasonable adoption fee. We do not have any "free" animals.
Any pets that are not already neutered upon rescue will be neutered before placement into homes, unless a medical condition prohibits surgery.

At this time we are showing pets by appointment. Most of the pets displayed here are in foster care, some are in kennels at boarding facilities and need foster homes. Please feel free to email us so you can fill out an application, which is required prior to meeting dogs
