Meet Toby! Toby Obi-Wan Kenobi!
Toby is the most adorable Merle Australian Shepherd, weighing about 40 lbs. Sadly, his owner recently passed away & he’s looking for a new family to love!
Toby is 9 1/2 yrs old, but don’t let his age fool you! This boy still has lots of energy & loves playing fetch & running free in a fenced in yard. Once he gets his energy out and his needs are meet, he settles down nicely with his humans.
Toby is eager to learn & with continued training, will be a master Jedi in no time! Toby is friendly & loves attention from people. He’s house trained and is non-destructive in the home & doesn’t need to be crated.
Toby is dog selective & prefers more passive dogs who enjoy his rough style of play. He will bark to warn you when he feels uncomfortable. He should also be fed separately.
Toby enjoys going on walks, but as is characteristic of his breed, will chase bicycles, motorcycles, & vehicles passing by. He would do best in a calm household with older, dog savvy children, as he’ll try to herd small children as they run. Prior experience with his breed, their herding tendencies, need for physical & mental stimulation is required.

An adoption coordinator will contact you by email within 48 hrs to set up an interview and go over your application

Once your application is approved, you will receive a pre-approval letter which is valid for 6 months as you search for the perfect pet!

We provide meet and greets for pre-approved applicants and their families.

Sign Adoption Contract

An application with vet/landlord reference check and virtual home visit is required.
The adoption donation amount of $550 is fully refundable if the dog you choose is not the right fit for your family within the first seven (7) days. Every dog is fully vetted, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, spayed/neutered, and microchipped with lifetime registration.
