My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Juniper: more than just a berry, more than a key flavor in gin—also a loving, goofy lab mix looking for her forever home! Juniper is estimated to be about a year old and approximately 30 pounds. She’s a petite little lady with a love of life and a desire to make you laugh. Juniper is a very good girl, and she is happy to be where you are, though she does require a fee for her in-home therapy sessions, a very reasonable fee of a few belly rubs now and then!

Juniper is young and playful, with lots of energy to burn, but with a good bone to keep her occupied, she’s a great snuggle buddy too. Juniper is dog and kid friendly, though because Juniper is so excited to meet everyone, we recommend kiddos be prepared for kisses, jumps, and some nibbles while she learns some manners. She has not been cat tested yet, and though she is very playful, she is also easy to correct and submissive, so she may be able to learn to live with a kitty that can tell her “no” when they’re done with her.

Juniper is crate and house trained, and she knows some basic commands, but she is still working on her manners and on being able to handle her licker! Juniper was recently treated for heartworms and is on bed rest until 4/2, but a good bone keeps her well occupied and calm. She is UTD on her vaccines and preventatives, and she is currently fostered in Camp Hill, PA. Apply to meet this happy little lady today!

We are PA Caring for K-9's, an all-breed dog rescue that is solely run by volunteers. Most of our dogs are rescued from high kill shelters in the South. If the dog is posted, they are still available! Once arriving, these dogs enter foster homes, as we do not have a shelter. We cannot adopt out dogs to a home with dogs that are not fixed or up to date on shots. If interested in adopting, please submit an application online at www.pack9rescue.org. Our adoption fee for altered dogs is $350 and goes directly to saving the lives of more dogs.  Our adoption fee for unaltered puppies will be $400 which includes a refundable $50 deposit upon receipt of spay/neuter certificate. We are an all-volunteer organization, and we are always looking for more help. Learn more about adopting from us or volunteering for us at www.pack9rescue.org or check us out on Facebook for more information and a complete list of dogs available for adoption.
