My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Peanut and Pumpkin are a bonded pair that must be adopted together.

Peanut (4Y) and Pumpkin (3Y) have been at Ferret Dreams since early 2023. They were surrendered to us because their family could no longer care for them. Due to their older age, we prefer applicants that are experienced ferret owners.

We do not know if they’ve had experiences with cats, dogs, or children. They do not get along with other ferrets.

They have both had a vet exam within the last year. Pumpkin is healthy with no concerns. Peanut has been diagnosed with adrenal disease but has responded well to her hormonal implant. This treatment does have to be repeated annually but it is covered by our Medical Addendum. Ferret Dreams will pay for all expenses related to Peanut’s adrenal disease for the remainder of her life.

All of our ferrets have been neutered (spayed / castrated) and descented. They have received their vaccinations for rabies and distemper as babies but we cannot guarantee any additional vaccinations have been continued.

Their total adoption fee is $450.

Our Mile High Ferret Club is an excellent opportunity to interact with the local ferret community. The monthly gatherings encourage ferret owners to bring their healthy and non-aggressive ferrets to play and socialize with others. These events also act as fundraisers to benefit the rescue. More details can be found on our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/milehighferretclub.
