DAISY, HAWK, AND LILO ARE A BONDED GROUP THAT MUST BE ADOPTED TOGETHER.
Daisy (3.5Y), Hawk (3.5Y) and Lilo (3.5Y) are a young and energetic group of ferrets. They came to Ferret Dreams in May 2023 because their family had to move to a military base that did not allow pets.
Daisy is playful and sweet. Hawk is incredibly energetic. He loves to play. He likes to be chased by humans throughout the house, as well as chase cats and dogs the same way. Lilo loves to play on her own terms. She enjoys chasing cats and dogs. Lilo also enjoys stealing and hiding toys. This group will do best in a home that can provide plenty of out of cage playtime.
The three do not get along with other ferrets. While they did enjoy playing with the cats and dogs at their first home, this may not be appropriate at their final home. Like many other ferrets, squeaker toys make them aggressive. This can cause them to bite other animals or humans very hard. If you have dogs and are considering adopting this trio, please first consider if it is possible to eliminate squeaker toys from the home. Ferrets also may have a similar reaction to young children crying.
Daisy has adrenal disease and is doing well with her annual hormonal implant. Ferret Dreams will cover the cost of any treatment related to adrenal disease for life. Please do not be discouraged by this treatable condition.
All of our ferrets have been neutered (spayed / castrated) and descented. They have received their vaccinations for rabies and distemper as babies but we cannot guarantee any additional vaccinations have been continued.
Groups of three ferrets can struggle to find a home together. We have reduced our standard adoption fee for this trio to down $500.

Our Mile High Ferret Club is an excellent opportunity to interact with the local ferret community. The monthly gatherings encourage ferret owners to bring their healthy and non-aggressive ferrets to play and socialize with others. These events also act as fundraisers to benefit the rescue. More details can be found on our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/milehighferretclub.
