MEET EDDIE….an adorable, 8 yr, 19 lb, tan/white Lhasa Apso — with a heart of gold. Eddie’s journey began when he was adopted from a shelter at just one year old. Unfortunately, as time has ensued, Eddie’s growing family don’t feel they are the ideal fit for him now, and they want him to have the best home and life ever! He is too special to have anything less! They love him and are making this hard decision for his sake. They say he is potty trained (but we still never guarantee) and an absolute joy to be around. He’s the perfect companion, always eager to be your best friend, by your side.
Eddie’s days are spent often found snoozing away…but don’t let his relaxed attitude fool you; he also loves going for walks and playing with his favorite toys! He is very social and gets along great with other dogs, adults and even kids over 8 yrs old. When it’s time to unwind (after a nice snooze!), Eddie prefers the comfort of the couch during the day and snuggles up in his owner’s bed at night. Yet, beneath his calm exterior lies a sensitive soul. Eddie struggles with separation anxiety and does not like to be left home alone. Loud noises like fireworks and thunderstorms also cause some distress, sometimes resulting in accidents indoors. Despite his anxieties, Eddie is a sweetheart who adores spending time with his family. He’s happiest when surrounded by love and understanding.
For Eddie, the perfect home would be one where someone is present most of the time, along with another friendly dog for companionship. If you are a caring canine parent who is looking for a loyal pupster -- your home might be the perfect one for Eddie! Love, attention and your time is what Eddie craves. Lhasa Happy Homes will be now holding our adoption events the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month on Main Street in Santa Monica (check calendar link below for special events and directions). Our event is located at 2116 Main Street, in Santa Monica, CA. Here you will have an opportunity to interact with the dogs and see which might be a perfect fit with your household. Main Street is famous for its innovative shops and is close to the beach! Make a day of it!! Metered parking on the street and free parking on 4th and Bicknell Streets.
Here you will have an opportunity to interact with the dogs and see which might be a perfect fit with your household....and do some fantastic shopping at the same time! Please do call us if you are coming to see a particular dog to make sure he/she will be at adoptions (we do not bring sick dogs to our adoption events). Please bring pictures or video of your home and yard if we have not done a home check (preferred)! Most importantly, if you have a dog, make sure you bring him or her to do a compatibility match with the dog you are interested in adopting!
