If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Buddy is a very friendly 8 year old Mutt who I rescued at age 3. He is loyal and full of energy but only in short spurts. He mostly loves to lay on his chair and sleep / cuddle with you. He does need a place with a yard as he spends most of his time sunbathing / outside. He would prefer someone who can spend a lot of time with him, I believe he could have been a therapy dog. He only likes being in a crate at night sleeping or for short periods of time during the day. He gets on well with everyone and never barks. He does communicate by crying when on walks or initially when around other dogs, but with the right training I'm sure that could change. Buddy is very smart and listens to commands. He's around 30lbs and strong, but is starting to slow down as he gets a little older.
I'm moving back to the UK and I'm unable to take him with me unfortunately. I'm willing to wait until I find the perfect home for him- that's why Ive had him this long, but I know his forever home is out there.
