Poor Denver had a pending adoption but his adopters decided not to adopt before they even had a chance to meet this amazing boy. Denver is fostered in Salisbury MA with a resident dog and adult humans.
He has a glowing review from his foster mom––“Denver is such a love! He is very snuggly and sweet and has been a delight. His puppy personality continues to come out and he loooves to romp around the yard. He also likes to try to eat grass so he may be part cow. He’s had no accidents in the house and he’s pretty good on leashed walks down the street. He’s very attached to his people so the trick is to not trip over him–we’ll work on that!
Denver is a perfectly sweet puppy with lots of snuggles to give his future family. He is 95% house trained (I do work from home and take him out a lot). And though he is good walking on leash, he would love to have a yard so he can sniff and run around. He sleeps well in his crate and greets me with whole body wiggles in the morning. And his fur is sooooo soft, I just squish him and kiss him constantly!”
Their mom is 52 pounds (Bunnie traveled north too!) and she came into rescue after birthing her babes in a hollow tree. This family has been in a southern foster home since the puppies were 2 weeks old and where they were just your typical happy, roly poly, litter that is on the schedule of play, eat, nap, repeat! Momma "Bunnie" has the best mom and has been with them since weaned.
Given their current age and weight, Dad could be larger than their mom and we estimate they will be medium to large dogs when full grown.
Should this pup receive an adoption commitment prior to your application being processed, we will share with you the other arriving pups that may be a match for you, some of which are not yet posted online. THIS PUP IS STILL AVAILABLE IF YOU ARE SEEING THIS LISTING––we pull listings down after receiving 2 - 3 viable applications to minimize adopter disappointment. Please do not email, simply submit an application link here www.rescueinc.dog/adopt and we do respond to every application within 48 hours.

All of our pups come with the following:
WE ISOLATE OUR OWN PUPS in our state licensed facility, which means we have eyes on your puppy or dog for the MA mandated 48 hours. During this timeframe, your pups not only see our isolation vet twice but also receive additional rounds of dewormer along with pre + probiotics; transition to Canidae food; additional behavior assessments as they decompress; and so much love and thoughtfulness from our volunteers. Your pups are bathed at intake and again before pick up. All are paired in kennels with littermates or for those that travel alone, we have a rotation of volunteers to visit with them. We provide enrichment throughout the day and meditation music during nap time and through the overnight. We use these 48 hours to ready your pup to transition into a foster or adoptive home and do all that we can to reduce their stress while they are with us.
Ages listed can be approximate and breed mixes are a best guess based on physical characteristics.
