Meet Shadow! Shadow has been with us for a little while. She came in in May of 2022 with her kittens. One by one they left the shelter but Shadow has had a hard time learning to fully trust humans. She was in foster care for a while and that was working out but it wasn't going to be a permanent situation so she needed to come back to the shelter where she could try to adjust so she could go on a rescue ride. She will come to you for pets but isn't going to be a lap cat. She is loving and snuggly, on her own terms. Ultimately, we think she needs to be in a quiet home where you will love her, at her pace. She gets long well with other cats and mature humans. If you think you could open your home to this sweet panther and just let her cohabitate, we think she'll open up and surprise you but you have to be okay if she doesn't. She's ready for her forever home either way. We need serious adopters willing to keep her and not up-root her again. She's up-to-date on vaccines, FIV/FeLV negative, and already spayed. Please fill out the adoption for at DarlingtonHumane.org if you think she'll make a good addition to your home. #DCHScats #EveryoneDeservesAHome
