Other important info about me: I’m a super friendly guy that loves meeting new people! Everyone that knows me says I’ve got a warm, loving personality and would make a great pet for someone that needs a friend. I am typically very calm but can be a little rough when playing with younger kids, so I would need to be in a home with older kids and adults. I appear to do well with other dogs, but I haven’t been tested with cats at this time.

Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

We are open Mon-Fri 8-4 and Sat 10-2. If no one is at the shelter during open hours, please call 281-576-2417 for assistance.

2.
Meet the Pet

We require all adopters to spend time with the pet they are interested in to make sure he/she is a good match!

3.
Sign Adoption Contract

All adopters must sign an adoption contract. This contract states that you will obtain rabies vaccination for your new pet within 7 days.

4.
Pay Fee

The adoption fee for all pets at MBAS is $10. We accept cash (exact change required) or card. We do not accept checks.

5.
Take the Pet Home

And that's it! You are now the proud owner of a new furry family member and will take your pet home right away.

Mont Belvieu Animal Shelter is open Monday-Friday 8:00 am to 4:00 pm and Saturdays from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Please call or stop by the shelter to view our available animals!
