My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Zero

He's a fun-loving, cuddly puppy. He plays hard and when he's done, he wants to snuggle on your lap and fall asleep. He loves his food and can't wait to be fed. He is learning commands like "outside" and "sit" and doing very well for such a young pup! He has lots of chew toys since he loves chewing and like any pup it's all about - eat, sleep, play and poop.  Zero currently weighs  12lb and would love to play with you in his forever home.

If you are interested in Zero, please complete an adoption application at lastdaydogs.com

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

All dogs are fully vetted, have age appropriate core vaccinations, and have been spayed/neutered and microchiped. 100% of the adoption fees go back to helping us rescue more dogs.

Our adoption process consists of an application, phone or face to face interview, home visit and reference checks. If you are approved to adopt from Tails of the Unwanted, you will be required to sign an adoption contract.

Go meet their pets

Our dogs are placed in foster homes around North Carolina and currently in the Concord, Charlotte, Greensboro, Winston Salem, High Point and Salisbury areas. We want our dogs to be placed in a loving and caring home and will arrange meet and greets with approved adopters.

More about this rescue

We are a rescue that networks and promote shelter dogs at risk of being euthanized at high kill shelters. If no one comes to their rescue, we step in. We are always looking for fosters and donations as well as volunteers so that we can continue to save the dogs who have run out of time at the high kill shelters.
