Meet Stormy! This little mixed 2 year old girl, weighing 22 lbs. was rescued by one of our previous pups. Beauty was always barking at a storm drain and her Mommy could not figure out why. Well one day out popped Stormy from inside of the storm drain ( hence the name Stormy) She was brought to us a little under weight, but it did not take her long to gain it as she loves to eat. She can be a little diva at times, she thinks she is as big as a Great Dane, but she is also very loving and loves climbing into a lap. She like her treats and toys, and attention from her humans. She is house trained, leash and crate trained. She has been spayed, dewormed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and ready to go to her forever home. We are a private run facility supported by public donations. The first step to adopt is to submit an application on richardsonrescue.org. We review them everyday, except for Sunday (Great customer service is our goal). Once your application is approved, you may then call for an appointment.

VISITS ARE BY APPOINTMENT ONLY WITH AN APPROVED APPLICATION.

More about this rescue

Nestled in twelve acres of country and woods is a place for animals that are hardest to help, BIGGER dogs, abused pets and puppy mill dogs. They need more time, more space and more love than many full rescues can provide. Their adoptions sometimes take months, but they get the room and attention that they need to get back on all four feet. The problem.... not many people are willing to give them a chance. We also offer low cost spay and neutering when funding allows.
