My name is Esmee!

I hope you are looking for a small lap dog cause here I am! 

My name is Esmee which means Loved and I surely am by my foster mommy!  I’m a little over 9 pounds and around 1 year and 8 months old. I am a terrier mix with probably some chihuahua due to my tiny size. 

I follow my foster mom around everywhere and love to ride in the car in my booster seat so I can see out. My favorite spot is on my foster mom’s lap or under the covers with her while lounging. I am a very quiet girl, but do bark when the other dogs in the house begin barking. I hang out with my foster mom while she works from home and love when I get to sit in a chair right next to her. 

There are a couple of playful dogs in the house and I love to play until I wear myself out, which is not very long. I am fairly active for short periods of time so will not require too much exercise. I have big brothers and sisters, but really enjoy playing with the smaller dogs. I have not been introduced to kitties yet, so that is still an unknown. I think I would be fine, but if the kitty wanted to play, I would probably join in. I might also chase.

I have not done a lot of leash walking at my foster mom’s house so may need some training with that. Since I am so small, that should not be much of a challenge. I have never met a person that I do not love and seek everyone’s attention.
