Introducing Sam, a 1.5 year old cattle dog who weighs about 27 pounds and is fully grown.
Sam is the best boy, he loves people of all ages and loves to play with other dogs. Sam is a happy guy, he just wants to be right by people's side! Sam is potty trained at his foster home in Texas, but his new family should be prepared to do a little more training, as his routine in your home will be very different than what he is used to in a foster home in Texas..
Sam is neutered, up to date on vaccines, dewormed and microchipped, and he comes with his medical records and interstate health certificate from a veterinary examination prior to leaving Texas, which certifies him to be in good condition.
Sam's adoption fee will contribute to our program of readying additional dogs, puppies and kittens which we prepare, transport and adopt out in the Midwest. Our goal is to get as many homeless animals out of south Texas, where we have a severe pet overpopulation crisis.
He will be arriving in Muskego, WI on Friday April 5th, and will be available for to meet, and take home if he is a good fit, by the first family to have placed an exclusive hold deposit as set out below.
His adoption fee is $500, which will be used to support the many animals in our care whose medical bills far surpass their much lower adoption fee. He is available for an exclusive hold with a deposit of $250, which we give on a first come, first served, basis. The balance of the adoption fee is due upon meeting/finalizing the adoption. Should you find that he is not a good fit for your family upon meeting, the deposit is refundable.
